How to create and print a report

There are six reports that can be customised. When you are generating a report the basic design is to present pairs of reports, side by side, with the base report on the left-hand side of the screen and the comparison report on on the right-hand side. The base report is always activated and can be generated and printed on its own. If you want to produce a comparison you must activate the comparison report by checking the Comparison Report Criteria box. The subsequent data will be presented in one report, with the comparisons clearly identified.

Printing a report

Many of the reports produce tables of data with multiple columns. Pages containing tables may be very long and not print out neatly on standard A4 or even A3 pages.

It is strongly recommended that before printing you export the data. You can do this by clicking on the Microsoft Excel icon at the top of the page. Once the data is in MS Excel or a similar application, you will have much better control of what is printed and the layout of your pages.

For more detailed information on the features, tools, and examples of created reports, see secondary statistics user manual.
