The systems check process
School Assessment Systems Check and MNA Report
The diagram below illustrates the steps in the process followed by NZQA when completing a school assessment systems check. Shools have a systems check at least every three years, as explained in the Assessment and Certification Rules and Procedures. Schools will normally be notified in February if there is to be a visit during that year.
Each panel is linked to an explanation of what is required or will happen at that stage.
